How long does it take?
Your website can go live in days, not months. What usually slows things down is waiting on photos and answers, so the faster those come back, the faster you’re live.
Do you write the words?
Yes. I can write the whole thing from a phone call with you, or tidy up what you already have. You read and approve all of it before it goes live.
Do you use templates or WordPress?
Not unless you need it. I build sites by hand, which is why they load fast and don’t need updates every week. If you’d rather have WordPress, say because you want to edit every page yourself, I’ll build your website however you prefer: the company I co-founded built hundreds of content management system (CMS) sites on Joomla, so I’ve run that life at scale. The build is quoted the same way. The care plan costs more, because keeping WordPress patched, backed up and safe takes extra time every month.
Can I update it myself?
For the parts that change often, like a blog, specials or events, yes. For everything else, most people find texting me is easier. There’s a full comparison on the Services page.
Can you redo the site I already have?
Usually. I’ll look at it for free and tell you straight whether it’s worth fixing or worth replacing, and I’ll keep your old page addresses working so you don’t lose what Google already knows about you.
Do I own it?
Yes. The domain is registered in your name and the accounts are yours. If you ever move on, you take everything with you.
